Holding a Philippine passport but visa was processed and received in Singapore

Hi,

I have some questions.
I just received my Canada Immigrant Visa last week 12/10/17 here in Singapore.
If I want to go back to Philippine, and from there I will book a ticket going to Canada.
Is there any issue?
Do I still need to take a Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) if my point of origin is in Philippines?

Hi there.. just wondering if you were able to fly out of PH without a PDoS?

same scenario, also received our visa in SG and plan to return to PH before flying out Canada.
