NDVO is very slow and also very random in which they process the applications. It would have been nicer if they follow some order either aor1 or aor 2 so we can wait for our turn. Now its all random so every time we see someone got update we need check our status and get dissapointed..

'Originals' means we have to put in actual 10th Marksheet and Voter ID in our application?

Yes, originals. CIC will return the docs safely back. They want to check the authenticity of it, I suppose.

CIC never ask for any original document along with the application. They ask for a photocopy with notary attestation. CIC will have to believe the notary. If they have any further doubt about relationship or documents, expect an interview.

Well, My process began Oct 9. I don't think it would be that long until April 2018. Max it takes people are 6-7 months of seeing passport request. mostly December 2017. What is your update looking like?

Guys, I see lots of expert opinions from this forum. I raised my concerned before however didn't get any response. I am again raising it hoping someone would get back to me.

My spouse PCC was being asked in AOR-2 email for the first time on June 13th (Just FYI App Recvd on Apr 6th, 2017). However, my foolish rep missed that communication and I get to know that when I called CIC call center in Sept first week. Later, we submitted our original PCC and got received by Sept 11 by NDVO.

Later in GCMS notes, I get to know there is no progress on my spouse file so far from June 7, 2017 onwards (Date When File transferred to Delhi). It was just sitting idle for 5 months now.

Eligibility: Pending
Criminality Check: Not Started
Security: Not Started

Can anyone just give an rough idea how many months it going to take to get my spouse BGC to get started and PPR.

I lost all the hopes to make it for this year. I am so worried as I have to pay price for someone else mistake

Yes, they do when the birth certificate is registered late as per country-specific requirements ie India here. But I am not able to make sense of the rest of your comment about interview as anujagupta's application has been rejected due to missing birth certificate.

I can speak from my experience and what I have seen so far in the forum for the past year!

From AOR2, it takes anywhere between 3-6 months.

But you said you submitted your pcc and schedule a on Sep 11. They need these to finish your criminality check. so please expect it to be over soon

Security check - I have read that it comes from CBSA and it does take time and I even saw a petition going around to speed the procedure. It depends on PA's travel history and location of residences after he/she turned 18. It generally gets done side by side with criminality check. But when I ordered my gcms notes, I saw it was not started but criminality check was passed

Eligibility- what do you see in the notes? you have to scroll down to the last few pages of the notes. I saw in mine "recommended waiver" and notes that said "Relationship appears to be genuine" and eligibility - was turned from "Recommend Passed" to In Process"

Please order one more set of notes mid of next month if you have not heard from NDVO. They are trying to clear straight-forward cases and I am sure you have a strong chance. Some of the representatives can be careless. From here on, call CIC once in a week just to hear the statuses. Also, you can withdraw consent to this representative.

I read it takes 5-7 business days and I can be wrong.

After the cancellation, you can connect your PA's application to a my cic account and monitor and receive all communications.

No Updates! my application took off at a great start - from App received 1st week of May (AOR1 - First week of June) and by 15th June all the formalities (sched A, medical etc) ware completed - then it went to NDVO around 3rd week of June - and afterwards its complete silence "we are processing your case - blah blah blah - will inform you when we start the BG"

Hi guys.
I am new here. I have had federal application in process since feb/2016. Then, I sponsored my spouse in 2nd june/2017. Medical was done on june 10, 2017. Since August, my cic account was saying, we are processing bcg. I just checked my ecas today and found Dm. I don't know what forum should i follow. Is there anyone in same situation and have received passport request?
I really want to know how long it takes after Dm in ecas notes. My work permit is expiring nov27/2017. Please advise
