Do you have any idea how long does it take to get a response after Enquiry on results? If it takes too long I dont know if it is worth it

It is said 6-8 weeks, but I got my result within one week and my brother got his in 2 weeks. We applied through IDP- Pakistan (Karachi),

I think you could create your profile and then update it once you receive your wife's eca. Atleast you'll be in the pool. Rarest possibility that crs cut off would drop to 415. But life is unpredictable. Anyhow you would update your profile once you get her eca. That's my thought.

hi friends... I have got a final score of 429 (CRS tool calculation) ... I'm still waiting for my wife's WES without which my score would be around 415/

Do you suggest I create a EE profile and try for Provincial nomination or can i create profile after my wife's WES with 429. Is there any chance to get a ITA with 429?

I second that, why not just enter the pool and wait for her ECA to update profile.. meanwhile.. who knows.. you might get NOI for PNP...all depends on lucky stars...

You forgot that besides being a show host, he is a billionaire with many years of management experience. I would prefer an outsider of politics with years of management experience who is not living in a bubble, over a professional politician who became millionaire. Yep, and anyone thinking it's a fair democracy here should read into the electoral college, gerrymandering and voter suppression tactics, which will continue to alter which groups in the US get their voices heard more.

I can understand thinking this must be outlandish from afar, but when you know enough people who seriously look at what's going on now and still support Trump or at best finally dislike him but still claim they would never vote for a Democrat, and then you have absurd health care costs and are on the brink of going back to getting bankrupted by common medical problems, and it's really not a stretch to want to live someplace more stable. As I've said before, I've wanted to do so since 2012 - long before Trump was more than a reality show figure. And I know of many other people who would take this chance if they weren't tied to the US for reasons they can't change.

Problems like health care existed long before, whether in Democrat government or Republican. Don't throw all the problems you are facing now in just one government, it's a little bit unfair. It's not absurd people who never vote for a Democrat, I know that another half would never vote for a Republican as well. Again, this is what we call Democracy, welcome to this concept, be my guest. Everyone has their own problems to tackle, your problem is not worse than anyone else, just respect others opinion and you should be fine.

I know that the true Democracy for you, existed in Obama era and now it seems that it is suddenly vanished, but worry not, "Democracy will return for you" eventually in a Democrat government, just don't be a bad loser and keep playing the game.

And, don't blame people that don't like socialism, because it is just a stage that will lead eventually to communism. And really, it's not everbody that likes something that was a failure, just take a look at the most recent socialism country Venezuela...

The guy inherited a fortune from his daddy and has gone bankrupt more than 4 times, most of the buildings with his name on it are not even his. Had he been born in a middle class family nobody would have ever heard of his name. I understand people wanting to vote for a non-politician, but this doesn´t mean voting for an idiot out of spite.

By the way, living in a bubble? Have you seen his 5th Avenue residence? The guy didn´t even want to live in the White House as it wasn´t luxurious enough for him.

So before 2012 all was fine with the health insurance system in USA?

I kind of observe interesting phenomenon lately here. There are some people that have worked good 15+ years in USA and they suddenly in their age of early 40 to late 50 they do realize, just how expensive the health care can be over there (somewhere around the time, you start to feel the age slowly creeping on your).
What was ok before (that is that little to no taxes went for the social redistribution for the health care) has now become the issue.

It is a normal human nature to secure advantage for you and your family (higher salary on younger age, and lower health care costs on older age).
The only problem is that whole idea of the free health care stands on the money redistribution pattern. Unless there is more net payers (those that pay more on taxes, than what they use health care), than the net users (those that need more health care than what their taxes would cover), the whole system will crash.
That is the reason, why Canada is trying to pick up the healthy ones and the younger ones (with the assumption of the longer net payer role).

And by the way, those countries with the exeptional good and accessible health care, do also have higher taxes and a progressive contribution to the health insurance system (the more you earn the more you have to pay for your health insurance regardless how often you visit the doctor).

If you read my previous post linked above, you would have read that I spent literally half of my life thinking I would get my mother's aggressive cancer as early as age 30 and then spend the rest of my life uninsurable (if I survived, of course). Not many 17-year-old Americans have cried with their parents over whether to get genetic testing not only because of the scare of being positive but, frankly moreso, of the possible loss of insurance access just from that result. I'm one of them. 2012 is just the year I was finally close to being in a position to get a visa for another country.

I'm well aware of the higher taxes that are part of living in a country with universal health care and frankly it's condescending to act as if that's news to people in the depths of this process. My husband and I are happy to have less disposable income if that's what it takes to make sure we and our daughter don't have to live at the mercy of greedy insurance companies.

Maybe those of you who want to criticize Americians here should just trust that we're not going through this process, with all the time and money and stress it entails, for kicks and giggles. We've lived in this environment for decades and have seen up close the dynamics that make us choose this and have countless personal experiences you aren't aware of. Or are we going to start analyzing and questioning everyone's reasons for moving? Are the posters here from the UK and Ireland up next?

Well, he managed to retain his fortune somehow, that means he is not so stupid. If you don't know, in capitalism, people do go bankrupt, people fail. The world is a competitive place. The important thing is not to give up and try again, and now he is the president of the most powerful nation in the world, I think it's a good biography.

Well he deserved it, after all, he can live anywhere his money can pay. There is nothing wrong with that if you earned the money. That what makes capitalism so great.

I meant the bubble that some guys live in, where they think that everyone should think like him, that he is protecting all the poor souls in the world by spreading the idea of socialism heaven to others. And then, this guy is living in the most capitalist country in the world spreading the wonders of socialism...
