It's normal, cic will ask for police certificate for every country you lived more than 6 months

They usually submit it online (e-medical) the day after you appear for medical before a panel physician. Before going to a panel physician ask if they have e-medical!
Cost depends on country and the center, i guess!

I meant depending which country your police check was from it wouldn't take long for SVO to verify it with the local authorities. Some foreign countries are less cooperative with CIC than most.

UK police check is about as straight forward as it could possibly be.

I would scan and upload it via CSE to SVO as well as mail the original to SVO via regular mail if I was you.

We have been asked to fill this form... Give as much details as you can to show the relation is genuine. Expect another couple of months before getting anymore news from them after that though... My wife has received a letter saying no interview, so be patient but do not panic .

it says that we can send by email. But we cannot electronicly sign the document because the signature fields is not editable. How can we send it by email?

Maybe you can print, hand sign then scan the document in pdf and forward by email. Keep the original in case they ask for it later.
