The other member could also have applied for sponsorship of his wife from within Canada once she was in. She would have had 'implied' status through out the processing time after TRV expiry. Not to mention the OWP benefit as a bonusYour fiance is better off applying for a TRV before the wedding and the application is submitted. Another member did the same, his wife came with him to Canada stayed for a couple of months and then went back. This helped them build history together, she got to experience the life here, looked good that she exited the country within the allowed time on her TRV etc. So if you are planning on applying apply before the wedding. That way she can accompany you after marriage and spend time here with you.
We have tried this and failed! I was rejected TRV, student visa to be specific and this is now being a hurdle when evaluating my eligibility. Since I tried to go Canada before marrying and right after rejection I married a Canadian created red flags for us in combination to others such as age difference. You can go with the idea though cause its all about luck and differs case to case. The other member could also have applied for sponsorship of his wife from within Canada once she was in. What she wants and thinks for herself is more important than our suggestions or advices. Every person is grown differently and has different level of patience. You can't decide for anyone what s/he should choose. Someone might had a good relation with her MIL can't decide for the other what she should be doing without knowing her circumstances. I for example is living with my in-laws but I was never obliged to do so. It was my own consent to live and spend some time with my husband's family bcauses I was now a part of it. I am basically from a different city and I am completely independent to go and visit my parents whenever I want. I am never directed by anyone on how long should I stay. Even my husband has given me all the authority to decide for myself where I want to live while he is in Canada. So apparently I am not eligible to give her suggestions that it will be okay to stay with your MIL for few more months because I have no idea how influential her MIL is, unlike my case. I hope and pray you get out of this situation sooner without making anything difficult for yourself and your relationships. This is your test, brace up! All the best!I don't agree with your wording. Giving someone advice to tell off their MIL is not good. This will only lead to more problems in their life and marriage.
These issues can be solved amicably and with better/more communication.
Do educated women not cook and do housework for their husbands and kids ?? Do you keep servants for this in Canada for housework ?
No wonder divorce rates are high now cuz of lack of patience/respect and tit-for-tat fighting in families.
Why are these girls going to pakistan to marry if they have too many obligations/loans/jobs/study and can't leave Canada for a little while?
If they're "not pakistani" as you say, then really shouldn't be marrying with someone from Pakistan.
Might have stucked with its MIL, not willing to make it his wayLet us all get back to immigration plz..?
Where is my DM!
You are lucky in this.. My parents and brothers are in Canada and other relatives are in different cities. Cant really go visit themWhat she wants and thinks for herself is more important than our suggestions or advices. Every person is grown differently and has different level of patience. P. S. It is very hard to live without husband be it your parent's house or in laws :-(
I applied for TRV last October before my husband sponsored me but was rejected. We have tried this and failed!
