My lawyer just destroyed my life!

I just received the refusal letter. Why? Because my lawyer went on a vacation for 2 weeks without even telling me. She just left me hanging. When she came back.. she was so annoyed if i call her to ask her what proof and documents she needed. So ... i kept following up and i sent everything to her early. She waited till the last day to send the file to the VO ... i mentioned many times that she needs to do it sooner because we have delivery issues in Lebanon! But no.. she is annoyed if i talk to her! I just received a refusal letter because they didn't receive anything from me ...... i gathered tons of proofs.. but they didn't receive anything from her! She just destroyed me.

What should i do now. They said appeal in the letter.. but should i appeal in my case? Or talk to her? Or to the immigration? Im so lost and sad!

My husband got a ppr from Ottawa monday night. But it was incomplete. Now we ask cic for new email. So maybe they trickling in.

The email saying visa ready had no visa office information whatsoever.
It has taken me part of the Wednesday to fix this problem. The mp assistants have called immigration to rectify this situation. CIC sending an email to Morocco about my husband's visa. Also sending us the correct email with all visa office instructions for passport submission. Hopefully receive that email today.

I have reported a technical issue to CIC, contacted both Ottawa and trying to get a hold of Mississauga with no luck.
I just have lost hope that anything will happen this year and will have to contact them directly over the phone once the 12 months has been reached since submission as it seems if you are in the 12 months they just don't care what MyCIC or ECAS says.
CIC does what they want anyway.

Similar situation. DM and application sent to Missisauga on Aug 29th, but haven't heard anything further. One of the agents at the call centre did say we've been approved so thats good but there's been no indication how much longer we are going to have to wait for his confirmation of PR. Everytime I call, I get different answers it seems. I even had one person say my husband had to wait for the conformation letter to come to Canada while another said he could come to Canada and wait while on a visitor visa. So confusing. It's only been 7 months since we applied to I know its moving along pretty fast but now it seems like we're stuck playing the waiting game.

I have DM since July 24th still nothing yet. My husband called the call center an agent told him the case is approved Ottawa office is so behind right now, but we still on the processing time limit that us until end of the december.

Does Missisauga do approvals or does it need to be forwarded onto Ottawa? Anyone know?

I'm starting to get a bit beyond frustrated. I am thinking I'll call immigration back and ask them exactly what to do and what documentation to bring as my husband is an American citizen and visa-exempt.

If your husband is American, he can definitely come. I've been staying in Canada as a visitor the entire time my app has been processing (and before we even submitted the app). I would say that's actually what most Americans choose to do, rather than be apart. They're very lax about letting Americans in on visitor status (as long as you can prove you won't overstay) so considering you have DM on your sponsorship application it's a no brainer.

I've seen same case but he sent e-mail to VO and they replied with letter with ppr
and stated that passport should be sent within 30 days of Dm was made, and he sent it with explanation as it was more than one month passed after ecas changed to DM
In my opinion it is better to report technical issue in GCKEY acount than calling CIC office.
Hope we all get ppr soon
