medical submitted upfront : Sept 6th 2017

16 month will be completed this month.

nothing updated on ECAS after AOR (Oct 13th 2016)

called CIC, they said : they receive our Medical, but officer haven't checked and our BG is in progress

When were you asked for Sch a or did you just receive the reminder email? And how soon after did you get your MR? I received request for filling gaps in Sch A 10 days ago and after supplying updated form,the background says NA.

Only I got is automatic email says Thank you for contacting us we will review your mail and will ge back to you, after that nothing I contact them two months before they said your file is in queue for review after that nothing.

Hello everyone:

I thought I should share my experience at north portal border.


I drove one of my friend this morning to North portal for landing as a PR, her timeline is:

EE inland applicant, single, SK

15 June17 - File received by CIC

14Sep17 - PPR

20Sep17 - Passport sent

4Oct17 - Passport received back with COPR.


As I have asked about can a person walk to US border and come back for flagpole.

Answer reveled: Yes we can, she did walk through Canada border and about 10 mins after she walked back to Canada border.

Officer asked her few question:

1. Which category you applied for PR (Provisional or Canadian experience class)

2. They confirm your address for PR card delivery, if you want you can update your address at that time.


that's pretty much about it.
