Cannot print CIT0002

The physical presence calculator is also crashing, not able to launch..

For me the calculator works OK, just the calculated # of days in the Absences from Canada section is way off for some absences.

I've just finished my call with CIC call centre. I've reported the print issue, they confirmed that they are aware of it and working on resolving it, but didn't give a timeline for the solution.

well it is working. if you see an error page, just go back to the previous page and resubmit again. it works but takes longer time. I already printed out the presence calculator form.

We should wait until we are sure that there is no technical issue from their side to avoid any delay, as I think they may fix the calcluator to make realtive period once u became PR, not 5 years regardless

Question while using the physical presence calculator -
List time with Canadian temporary resident or protected person status

I was on a work permit for certain period between Oct 2012 and Sep 2013 but then during this time, I also filed for a work permit extension and waited for 3 months to receive it while I was still legally allowed to work in Canada. Should I mention this period while I was waiting for a new WP to be issued as a separate row in the calculator or just put one period against the type "Temporary Worker" right from Oct 2012 to Sep 2013?

Also, in sec 9b in the app form, what dates should I put in?
Should the effective date be the start date of the eligibility period or my WP start date which was issued prior to the eligibility date?
And should the end date be my WP end date or just the date before I became PR?
Please advise.

I tried to download the CIT 0002 form but the download form was dated in August which is the old form. Did anyone have the same problem with me?

Clear your browser cache or use a different web browser. Download form to PC, open with latest adobe pdf reader.

what about print screen and we are suppose to sign on the print out and then send the hard copy with other docs, so why not print screen or specific tools which allow it?

I have them ready, signed, will get the photograph done in some time.

do you really want your application to be returned over a technicality ? Just wait for the form to be fixed, few days delay in submitting won't make much difference.

Same. The photocopies is of the biographical pages as someone had requested.

For those who have done the current Online Calculator, it is asking for all the absences for the past 5 years. What if you become a PR 4 years ago. DId you enter as absences when you are still living in your home country?

The previous online calculator has the statement Absences for the past 6 years or since you become a PR.

I don't know why people are struggling with this. the system will eventually gives you report to tell you whether you are eligible for not. just fill in all past 5 years travel records. the system will indicate the time in two parts, pre PR time and post PR time, and will give you a final result...
