Thanks for your kind post sharing your experience with me, please if you can tell me when did you apply and what was your refusal reason and how you are preparing your reasons? please help I have helped with my entire family what about you?

First I would like to mention that I am the guy who had his visa rejected :) so I may not give you the best advice, nevertheless, I will share my thoughts with you.

The refusal reasons were the same, except I don't have ties to Canada (at that time). before I looked into the details, the first thing was mentioned is " You did not convince me that you will leave Canada " or something like that, this was back in 2014 I don't really remember the exact words, for the visa office to get that conclusion he looked consider different factors which are the reasons you mentioned (travel history, purpose of visit ... etc).

What I mean by working on my reason, is I am going now for different reason, first time I applied was to take an English course (less than Six months ) in Canada, I took that course with Canadian teacher here in Qatar now due to the visa refusal.

Now I am going for a different reason, family reasons and I have to be there for my family, I wrote an explanation letter to explain my reasons why visiting Canada and also attached proof why should I come back to my place of residence, like my 3 years work contract and I purchased a airline ticket going back to Qatar.

My idea is to show strong reason to visit and strong reason to leave. This might be not enough but I hope this will convince them.

1. I have applied GCMS note.
2. 13 September i have applied schengen visa with my all family and our passport is in Schengen embassy for visa which they told me to collect on 25 September.
3. Not me or any one i talk to collect my original documents from vac no one, i dont no why i received like that what u think ?

I have been to the USA with my family and some other countries too.

My question is

if I travel to Schengen or UK or Both do you think it will increase my chances
I have bought property in the country I am living
ties to Canada what I can show since its Tourist purpose only ?????????

Dear Bryanna.

It has been 1 month i have applied GCMS NOTE they didnt reply me yet. I Have applied via lawyer.

I am travelling again Bryanna with my entire family to Germany. Netherlands. Belgium. France. Italy since my vacation leave is approved so i need to use it otherwise it will expire. We all got Schengen Visa from German embassy. For ur info dear Bryanna.

That's great. This new travel will help for the Canada TRV (but again, IMO, hope your wife realizes it's not wise to reapply with all your children).

GCMS notes could take up to 6 weeks. So don't worry about it

Hi @abrardurrani,

No response yet still waiting on Background check.
For me the first visa was totally wrong approach from my side, first, I applied for TRV and stated I wanted to stay for 3 months, which is to long and unlikely to be approved. This time I made it 2-3 weeks.

The refusal reasons were mainly saying my ties to my home country (where am living) the visa officer was not satisfied that I will leave Canada. I addressed more reasons why I have to go back, like my work work contract and purchased airline tickets, not sure if this is enough but that the best I can do.

I have not applied for GCMS notes, I wasn't aware of it back in 2013.

hope this info give you a hint.
