I have a question/problem

I landed in 2015 June as PR. Got job in 2016 March. So till 2016 March no income. Filed 0$ taxes in 2015. My wife got job in December 2015. So her taxes for 2015 is very less.

I got selected for family sponsorship. They are asking for last 3 years taxes.
My current salary and salary since I got job is a very good number compared to the minimum criteria.

Will I get rejected right away or since my income is steady and we both full time jobs so we can go ahead and submit application for my parents.

My wife will be my cosigner also .pls help

I believe they need at least 3 years of NOAs meet the minimum criteria, that's why I waited these years to be qualified, otherwise my salary was also good enough from the first year I landed.

I believe they need at least 3 years of NOAs meet the minimum criteria, that's why I waited these years to be qualified, otherwise my salary was also good enough from the first year I landed.

You don't qualify to apply this year. You need to meet LICO for the previous 3 years (2014, 15 & 16). Have a look at the section titled Federal Income Table at the link below.

It clearly states "The Minimum Necessary Income requirement, which you must meet for each of the three years preceding the date of your application, is equal to the Low Income Cut-Offs (LICO) plus 30%."

I submitted my parents application end of July as well and I haven't received anything as of net. My ecas is not working. I called cic today morning and the only thing they said was your application is not in process yet. So I am worried about application now. Please be in touch with any updates you have as we have same timeline.

again, you MUST meet LICO for 2014-2016, for Quebec - 2016 / you can use co-signer for that/ if not - don't spend money, that's not to fast to get REFUND from CIC

There are some people already got rejected in this forum with the same situation as you. You can try, but the result is already there.

I run a small business, my income for all 3 years 2014,15,16 is well over the Min income, but my "assessed" income (line 150 on my NOA) is not, is this going to be a problem?

Yes. LICO is based on your personal income not how much money your business makes. Unfortunately keeping your money in your business for tax purposes will have consequences.
