All Police certificates must be original. So you need to send it thru mail to your Visa office.

I guess you just need to send a letter of explanation why you cannot provide the baptismal cert. Same case with my Mom and Dad they are late registered that's why they need baptismal. They are done with their medical. But I have no feedback yet if the explanation letter I've sent is acceptable...
