Usually once application is transferred to the local office, any documents requested are usually are sent to local office not Sydney

Currently the Citizenship application requirement says:
"You are required to provide a police certificate for each country, other than Canada, where you were present for a total of 183 days or more during the four (4) years immediately before the date of your application."

However, from Oct-11-2017, the new rules per C6 will become effective and new application forms will be available at the CIC website. I am wondering if the above requirement for police certificate "183 days or more during the last 4 years" will change to "183 days or more during the last 3 years" as the per the new law C6, 3 years of physical presence in Canada are required instead of 4 years. I'm hoping that the police cert rule will change to 3 years before the date of application. Any input will be appreciated.

This question has been asked and answered many times.

Short answer: No, there is no indication this rule will change to 3 years. It has nothing to do with the physical presence requirement. It is a coincidence that the numbers are currently the same.
