And is it said in the email that your husband received, that the application is going to be sent to Vienna?
The next step should be a medical request and after that if they do not need anything from you - passport request, but this is the longest wait part. Good luck!

That's my husband got mail he is a sponsor I have not yet received mail, why do not I know ???

Got yesterday a request for RCMP, mailed everything the same day to Canada to obtain the certificate. Anyone else who got news now a days ???

No nothing on my side it's really quiet. Last time they ask something it was on the 24th of July. They asked the rcmp stuff from me back in November.
I'm hoping something going to happen soon because or medical going to expire on the 17th of next month.
So I'm a little bit worried here.

Hi Everyone, Have a question after reading the last posts in which you mention RCMP certificates. Forgive me if this is best asked in a different thread, or already answered on the forum elsewhere. I've only found conflicting information.

Currently in the Netherlands, but am getting married in a month's time (in Toronto) and will return to the Netherlands again afterwards. I was previously in Canada for 6 years from 2010 to 2016 so I am assuming I will need to undergo screening in Canada for this time once the application is submitted.

Is this something that is done automatically, and will I always have to provide fingerprints? Or can it be done without fingerprinting? I've already requested a Toronto Police Check which will be ready for me this week and I'll pick it up when I'm in Toronto at the end of the month. I did not need to supply fingerprints in the application.

Will the Toronto Police Service issue based on RCMP Screenings? Or would I need to go through another organisation for immigration purposes?

Finally, I will have a Netherlands VOG which I applied for today. Canada and the Netherlands are the only countries I would need background checks from. Is there any benefit, once I have the letters, to submitting these documents with the initial application after the wedding and receiving the Certificate?

I'm not sure about that but I guess if you have a Toronto police clearance that would be the same as the VOG for the Netherlands. Don't think you would need a RCMP.

Hope you will get news soon! They can also extend your Medical for a year instead of asking you for a new medical

I just want to give you guys an update.
Today I finally got some good news our ARC application was approved.
I just got an email I have to print it and bring it with me as it states. So hopefully the sponsorship papers are not far behind.
I still didn't got PPR but I'm really hopeful that we will get it soon.

Hi everyone. Does anyone have experience of how long the Vienna office takes to begin/complete a background check? We have done everything required except background check. 20 Sept we were requested to send Schedule A and police checks, and then were told we were being transferred to Vienna. So we sent docs to Vienna as requested. Any idea how long we might wait from now, is Vienna a fast or slow office? It looks to me like next step is decision made...

Now the waiting game will start... some of the applications got DM in 7 or 8 months others are still waiting including me from July 2016. Even 2017 applicants from begin this year are still waiting for news... have patience don't think you will get DM anytime soon or maybe if your case has priority
