I requested my ATIP on August 18, it takes 31 calendar days. So hopefully have an answer back by Sept 18th.

I don't know why it is taking so long for April applicants while June applicants are moving much quicker. I don't believe they work with first-come-first-serve basis.

I hope this new law (C-6 bill) is not creating an issue. I know before C-24 bill the waiting time was over two years and since C-24 and prior to C-6, it was less than 6 months, some of my friends even got it in less than 3 months.

ok so let me tell you my own understanding and observations. After thoroughly going through my first GCMS, I saw that its security check every where. I remember when I had applied for PR visa 4 years ago, I was very late in getting medicals but after medicals it was like boom and visa pasted in 2 weeks. So I am assuming the same thing here that once we get the test invite it will be over soon. I know some applicants on this forum who even after decision made got stuck on Oath and there is no Oath even after 6 months. They are stuck at Prohibitions.

Two main check you need to pass during citizenship process are

1) Security

2) Prohibiitons

If you pass them you are done. Rest of checks like knowledge, language , intent to reside are easy to pass.

By the way I have ordered my 2nd GCMS and I will be getting that on 01 October

My last GCMS I received was on 15 August

I had CIT0520 due to a missing stamp on passport. I guess that changed my case to non routine.

Can you tell me what is a missing stamp on passport like? does it mean you have not mentioned all the travels in the residency form and then they found a travel which you have not mentioned but in the passport?

I had couple of day trips across the border from Buffalo and they were accurately mentioned on the calculator
US CBP had not stamped my passport as one of my trip was within 30 days
CO was not able to validate my exit from Canada and gave me the CIT0520 to provide entry/exit records from US CBP

My ceremony however never showed up here so there may be some other scheduled ceremonies not shown.

I think it is too long, it is more than 10 months after your test. Have you left Canada during this period? Would you please share, if you don't mind, your timeline.
