 A Canadian Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree or an Educational Credential
Assessment (ECA) report produced by a designated organization indicating that
your foreign education is the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelors, Masters or
PhD degree.

 A language level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 or above in all
language competencies (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in either
English or French.

 Score a minimum of 400 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System in CIC’s
Express Entry system. Your score must remain at or above 400 during both the
Ontario nomination processing stage and at the federal application for permanent
residency processing stage.

 Possess sufficient funds and/or income to cover settlement costs in Ontario.
Funds must be unencumbered, readily transferable in a convertible currency, and
supported by bank statements.

 Intend to reside in Ontario, as demonstrated by a statement of intent and
indication of ties to Ontario.

 Registration in the Express Entry system, including a valid Express Entry number
and Job Seeker Validation code, is a requirement of the Human Capital Priorities
Stream and the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream of the Ontario
Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

If you choose to qualify under the FSWP criteria, you will also be assessed against
CIC’s six selection factors to ensure you meet the minimum of 67 points for the FSWP.

The assessment of the information and documentation submitted in support of your

Hi Bill,
Is it true that once we cross 60 days invariably we will get a Procedural Fairness Letter? Or are there cases where people have received nomination after 60 days without PFL? In all the cases that I have seen, applicants that got the PFL were not preceded with an ADR. Is my understanding correct?

Its seems that when u pass the 60 days u r more likely to receive PFL , i just received one today after 70 days

@BillHyatt I am the primary applicant While my wife is a dependent applicant.

This is regarding my POF. I have shown two accounts.
1 - My Personal Account and
2 - Joint account with my wife who is the first holder.
I have 70% of the funds in my account and 30% in the joint account. Will this create a problem for me ?

Just attach a letter from your wife declaring that she has no objection if you use this funds for settlement in Canada and she also intend to come along you. Anything like this and include her contact information like mobile number and email for further confirmation.

I replied to their email and waiting for the acknowledgment. does any one know who long does it take from AOR to nomination?

From few hours to weeks. My friend got AOR 23 Jun and Nomination on 28 June. Some got it in 30 mins.

Keep checking EE Profile regularly after AOR.

Honestly I believe they have a huge backlog and they're trying to play this way to deny applications. It's not right as I have submitted every thing.

I have seen many such cases in the past but no refusal to date. Just need a good explanation.

Has anybody received LOI from Ontario PNP for Skilled Trades Program?
My NOC is 7231, my current employment in Woodbridge, ON with Job Tiltle 'CNC Machinist' for past one year does not require any trade license/certificate.

Do I need the trade certificate/license to apply for Ontario PNP & thereafter (if nominated), in Express Entry?

4-5 years (13 points) (I was hired in May 2012, by the time I submitted my application in July I had more than 4 years of experience)

I was born in June, 1978 (so I'm 39 years old)

The Total is 67 points exactly. if I'm nominated I will not drop below 67 points.

You should write an email as required by OINP, and explain them in the same way you did here. Just add references to your file such as refer IELTS results and website link (as mentioned above) and so on for others as well.

I guess the problem is with your education that may have caused a misunderstanding. This is a common mistake I have seen in OINP when you have more than 2 degrees/diplomas. If considering your highest qualification being a Bachelor Degree it gives you 21 points, however, adding one more diploma gives you 22 points making the score 67/100.

You need to emphasise this point and referring it to ECA report and CRS Score calculated automatically in the express entry. So, just explain all point again, refer them to your documents, attach ECA/IELTS again, and tell them that this seems to be a misunderstanding.
