Hi!
May I ask if anyone here still waiting for their DMs and PPRs? I am still waiting for my husband's and it's in MVO. Since our application got there we never heard anything. I am just wondering if we are the only ones like that... Thank you!

I'm a Feb 8th app, at Ottawa VO with no DM or PPR yet.

Hi Everyone,

I have a quick question were do my Spouse application will be going and which Visa office the file will be processed.

Currently, My spouse is in Taiwan on a Worker/ Resident Visa. I am applying for her PR under Family class sponsorship. She is a citizen of India and fairly recently moved to Taiwan – less than 6 months. So now, I am confused if her PR sponsorship file will be processed in Taiwan or New Delhi.

Any help or insight on this one will be really helpful.

Thanks,

I'm also February 14th applicant, Accra visa office. Passed medicals two months ago, still waiting to hear from them.
Feb 15 applicant here, no DM or PPR yet.

Guys, help out here

For form 5406 CIC guide says

Write the personal details for:

  • Yourself (the person being sponsored),
    • If you are married and you were physically present at the marriage, write “married – physically present” in the marital status box
    • If you are married and you were not physically present at the marriage, write “married – not physically present” in the marital status box. Note that we do not recognize marriages by proxy.
  • your spouse or common-law partner, (if this applies to you)
    • If you are married and your spouse was physically present at the marriage, write “married – physically present” in the marital status box
    • If you are married and yourspouse wasn’t physically present at the marriage, write “married – not physically present” in the marital status box. Note that we do not recognize marriages by proxy.
Now the situatiom is we both are married and physically preaent. But in PDF row there is not enough space to write these words.
????? WHAT SHOULD I have to write?
Take the print-out and hand write "Married-Physically Present" with a fine tip black pen. It will fit in.

I didn't apply in February, but end of January (25th) and I still haven't got DM either. Just wanted to let people know there are still applicants from before who are still waiting. I just ordered my GCMS notes (2nd set). They just started the eligibility at the end of July. They haven't done anything with our criminality check since it was opened in February (so our background check has been in progress for 7 months with no movement)?!

Consider yourselves lucky that you are not at the VO in Mexico City ... they are probably one of the slowest VO's!

Feb 9th app, at London (UK) VO with no DM or PPR yet.

London is soooo slow :(

Yeah it's pretty slow and I am surprised that one of the slowest VO (NDVO) is doing way better than other VO. I have seen in multiple cases that they got visa within 6 months.

This is unreal!

passport is being returned via DHL, MyCIC says app was approved and has CoPR number attached so happy days !

Hey guys,
I have situation and I need your help.
My Family sponsorship application was showing DECISION MADE on ECAS in August but didn’t change on myCIC account. I was waiting for PPR but didn’t get anything. After waiting for one month I sent inquiry to web form and I got reply on last Friday only. It had attachment which was PPR letter. As per letter it shows it was being issued on 7th August.
They request to submit passport in 30 days of letter issued date but in my case it gone beyond that.
MyCIC is still showing application IN PROCESS.
I’m now submitting my passport with explanation letter with all attachment (my inquiry on web form, myCIC screenshot etc)
I’m in Canada on Visitor visa and as per letter I can submit my passport at Ottawa if I’m in Canada.
My Visa Office is New Delhi, India.
I’m worried if they would accept it or not.
Any suggestion ???
That's interesting, my husband's ecas read DM on August 10th. Us too have never received anything. I have the mp inquiring. This is 33 working days past. Nothing on my cic has changed. No email or messages. I finally sent an email to Ottawa and today a web form inquiry. I think get it in asap with explanation and proof of receipt of late message or email if you can.

I have submitted passport with explanation letter and all the proof attached with it. Finger is crossed.
For you, keep checking your spam mail because the correspondence from web-form goes into spam folder sometimes. It did at least for me.
MyCIC doesn’t change until we submit passport and they issue COPR, that’s what I learnt from my experience.
Good luck for your application.
A bunch of us are in same boat DM on Sept 1 and no communication there after. I am planning to send the communication today. Did you contact the CIC using the "Case Specific Inquiry" or by raising technical difficulty?

In the same boat. DM on Sep 1 and never heard ever since. Tried call CIC multiple times but "experiencing a high volume of calls". Sent case specific inquiry, hope they will respond soon.

By the way, on the spreadsheet I see the same situation for a bunch of people on Ottawa/Mississauga. Is your case being at the same office?
