Citizenship application in August 2017

For me also nothing is working. But I just sent the application on Sept 8th. So, for now, I should just relax and continue with my chilled beer.

I did also send my application almost a month before and still I can not see any details on ECAS and I haven't received my AOR too. I did try different options to check my status , but all is vain. When did you check your status first time do you have any idea?

Yesterday I checked Ecas. I saw nothing, only the generic page saying my information is not there. Today, I tried to check it because my file reached on August 11 and no AOR , and now I saw on the tracker that they are sending AOR emails to applications received on August 14 and 15. That was the main reason for checking my ecas.

Normally the information pops up once you receive the AOR. Before that, it's not gonna show you anything. That's what happened in my case.

This is what I thought. In my case, the Ecas has been updated (application received) before Receiving my AOR email. Sounds weird

This is strange - ECAS appears one day after AOR normally.

Maybe because the AOR they sent ended up in your junk email or was mailed to a wrong address or lost. I would check on ECAS if your address is typed correctly and if you don't get AOR eventually I would call them to confirm your email was spelled correctly. We have had cases here when both address and email were entered wrong for applicant by agent. I am not surprised.

I used my PR and it didn't work. Then I also tried my brother's PR for his application in which he DID receive the AOR for and it didn't work either. Does this online tool actually work ?

If they had sent AOR email, there will be a second line on ecas stating we have sent u AOR email this date... but ecas showed only one line, application received on date..

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 16, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 19, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on August 2, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on September 14, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 29, 2017 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment,
