Hi everyone. I am new here

I was told by a friend of mine that If don't get my mail/email of confirmation after a month of my application being delivered I should give CIC a call. Is that necessary or I should wait a little more ?
Also I would like to be added on the excel list please. Thanks

Hi,
My application was received as well on august 11 and until now, I did not receive the AOR email. You can go and look at your ECAS to see your application status and there you can see if it is received by IRCC.
I am adding you to the excel sheet.

How can we look at ECAS without AOR or file number....

Since you don't have the AOR, you will not have a file number. however, on your PR Card, there is your UCI number of 8 digits xxxx-xxxx. This is your ID number or UCI. You can use it.

For my application, it says on ECAS it is received on august 11 only. I did not receive AOR yet.

I used my PR and it didn't work. Then I also tried my brother's PR for his application in which he DID receive the AOR for and it didn't work either. Does this online tool actually work ?

When you say you used PR # where did you get it from? If you are using the number in the front of your PR card then it won't work. The PR number is in the back starting with PA...

you have to choose:
id/UCI put the eight digit number
last name
birth date
country of birth

Yeah I used the back PA number

It is not the PR#
It is your number on the front of the card ID# Near your photo

If it gives you a sheet where they say they can't find your info in their records, it is sometimes normal. This means they did not start entering your information. for me, I can see that it is received only today
So you have to wait few days.

When I use the front side number it says that the number should be in this format PA1234567 (Which means its the one in the back). But yeah I think I will wait a little more. Thanks for the help

It depends what you have chosen on the first place there is a choice between ID #, PR Card #,...... and then you input the number in conformity with what you have chosen.

For me also nothing is working. But I just sent the application on Sept 8th. So, for now, I should just relax and continue with my chilled beer.
