I applied in July 2015...
Anyway, it is good to hear someone here actually could extend his BOWP, I didn't hear of anyone doing that between my friends so I was kind of lost.

One of my friend (2015 August Applicant) also stuck in security check in paper base application, 4 months before he applied EE and yesterday he got his PPR and still no response from paper base application.
Its look like they are giving priority to EE.
from last few months no one among (2015 Applicants _ AMKH( July) XTRO (July), Pedro (Feb) and so many ) No one receive any response from CIC , I think they forget us...

I think your friend was lucky! your friend was lucky that was not selected for SS because I know many people stuck in EE for more than a year! they did not do security screening for your friend and that's why he/she got PPR in 4 months. It's a big risk and waste of money to apply through EE.
My med result expired back in Aug. But so far I get no notice from them askimg me to redo the medical exam.
Even I ask them through webform, the agent didn't answer me directly.

I received my GCMS notes today and it shows the status in Location : PS Pend and I am getting this status in Location from last 10 Months.
I think it means that it is pending due to security check, I also call my MP and tell him that my friend stuck in security check and when he apply EE so how he get the PR in few months, then my MP ask me to send all this on email and he will forward it to CIC.
It is almost 26 months completed and 1 year completed on security check, I don't know when this pain comes to an end.

I applied on dec 15,2015 but until now mine still in process.some jan-april applicant got ppr what happened on dec applicant?
