My application will get cancelled for PCC

Just bracing myself for my application to get refused/cancelled because of my Singapore PCC.

I lived in Singapore between 5th November, 2012 and 26th April, 2013 and then visited as a tourist between 28th May 2016 and 4th June 2016, which was included in my travel history as well. I was asked for a PCC from Singapore after passing my medical.

However for some reason, the Singapore PCC says I am clear of conviction etc from 22nd November, 2012 to 16th June, 2016. I can understand 16th June even though I exited on 4th June cos the tourist visa was valid till then, but no clue why the Singapore Police has mentioned the start date as 22nd November, 2012 when I entered the country on 5th November of 2012. I entered on a provisional visa (was a student) on 5th November, then had a medical and was given an official Student Pass on 22nd November, 2012 which is why I guess they did it.

Anyway, I'm really disheartened and disappointed by all this after so much effort and now just waiting for the rejection email.

So sorry about this. You can raise a CSE now, include the e-Appeal application form that shows you have applied for the correct period of stay, and explain the same as what you have mentioned here.

I have the same case, however, the period of stay in my COC is the same as what had been entered in the e-Appeal. I entered SG 2 months before I got my employment pass approved.

When I had my fingerprinting done in the SPF, there was one lady who had requested to change the period of stay, which they acknowledged it and she got her new COC on the same day. You can do the same too. Otherwise, get a new COC now and raise a CSE with the new PCC.

I'm in India now and got the whole thing done through an agent here. Therefore I have no way to access the form now or verify that they put in the correct dates. I remember telling the agent it was November 2012 to April 2013 without giving specific dates. I guess the SPF just took the date on which my student pass was approved, not sure why because I had a FIN number issued before I landed in Singapore

I'll need to ask for time for a new COC right? Also it costs quite a lot to get it done again.

I'm just prepared now for a rejection unless of course by some miracle CIC accepts it. My document status does say 'We do not need additional documents'

You can get a GCMS to check if your PCCs are accepted.

If your application will be canceled, you will still need to get the correct COC. Most of the members in this forum had only done it by themselves and it is cheaper. I only uploaded my ITA and the CIC document checklist from the website.

Let me know if you need any help. I am a currently residing in Singapore.

Thank you so much for your offer. The reason I went through an agent was because of the hassle of getting the fingerprints done. Why would I need the correct COC if my application is canceled/refused? I'm assuming that is the end right?

Also correct me if I am wrong, but you can only order GCMS if you are currently in Canada right? My application is currently being processed at New Delhi

The issue date of FIN is just in-principle and not the same when you landed, did the fingerprinting/medicals, and subsequently getting the card itself (issue date is printed on the card).

I got my In-Principle Approval letter for my employment pass weeks before I landed, and the issue date of my actual FIN is a week after I landed.

No to both questions:
1) if your application is canceled, you can still create a new profile, enter the pool again, and if your CRS is high enough to receive an ITA in the next draw, you'll get it

Or, you can email CIC to reopen your case through the webform, attach an LOE and correct COC.

2) you can get a GCMS even if you are outside Canada. There are lots of third-parties offering this service. Check this out https://www.getgcms.com/

Also tagging @legalfalcon :) You can get your GCMS notes checked by him.

Woah getting GCMS takes 40 days? I'll probably hear from CIC before that anyway
