Thank you everyone for the congrats and well wishes.
we have just gotten home and this past 3 days seems like Ive been in a dream, but its done.

A couple things I remembered about the landing...not once did they ask for hubby's Id or did they ask him if he will be responsible for me being here.

The most important thing I could tell anyone is to relax, the people at the IRCC are friendly, personable and genuinely seem to care that everything goes well.

As we were leaving the woman said, "I remember everyone, see you in a few years for your citizenship"...she then went on to say that they sometimes travel across the Island to do the test/ceremony in one day and she will check in with me to see if Im ready.

I am very happy to report that we received Applicant Eligible to apply on Sept 13, followed by my Spousal approval to sponsor Sept 14, and now this morning an email informing us of the Landing Interview to be held Sept 26, in Vancouver. I mailed the Inland application September 26, 2016, and received first acknowledgment Oct 3. Medical had to be redone in August as the first was expired.
Thank you very much to the Forum that has answered every question that I could have thought of, and many that I would never have thought of.

Thank you Profiler. Another person said it means bring forward. There is a date the officer had set to review my application after requesting additional documents from my sponsor. I saw changes between the first and second GCMS noted. The new one shows the secondary office details where we live now. Medical was passed. Criminal was passed. Sponsorship was in progress. The officer made notes listing the documents I have submitted as relationship and cohabitation proof. And said additional is needed to proceed, which we have sent. I'm not if mine is progressing

Call and ask, or contact your MP. It can take 8 weeks for Etobicoke to schedule. But you might get results by contacting your MP.

Sounds like you know it was bona fides from your GCMS notes (and the document request). 30-60 days from the day they received them they will review what you submitted.

Secondary office is likely for landing.

I called CIC last week .
They said checking your background.

Sorry I thought when you said that you were waiting for landing at Etobicoke, that you had a DM. They usually reveal which office you will land at, in the DM letter.

You have to wait for them to finish this step. They can't control the speed it's processed, as it's done outside of CIC.
