Yes. I think the purpose of an MP letter is to have an additional document vouching for the applicant that he/she will not overstay in Canada.

A letter from the MP does not influence a visa decision nor can the MP vouch for someone's intent/lack of intent to overstay.

An MP can inquire about administrative delays in processing an application

Applied for TRV through VFS (Paper Application) on 11th August. Linked my paper application to online account on 13th August.
Status shows under processing. No change since then.

Hello Everyone ,

I have applied for my parents Visitors Visa online today , I have applied it through My personal CIC Account . I was not aware that we should apply separately for parents in new CIC account .

What can I do here , I have already submitted and Application number generated now . Can i withdraw my application and apply new one ?

What is the procedure for withdrawing the application . Please advise .
