GCMS notes "review required"

Is this always a bad thing or something to be concerned about? This is the status of my eligibility.

In the officers notes it says "relationship seems genuine"

I have a dismissed dui as well. I sent in a clean FBI background check and in the officers notes it says "no reportable trace"

I also sent in a legal opinion letter that contains court dockets, a copy of my deferral and completion certificates for everything i had to do to have my charge dropped. It also contains an explanation from the Canadian immigration attorney explaining why I am admissible to Canada.

In the officers notes it says "Officer to review court records"

So here is my question, could the "review required" be because of the "officer to review court records" ?

Thank you

I always thought eligibility was for relationship related stuff only, but now I feel like there is more too it ?

Review, for my husband's file. He's in final review. To me an agent looks at file and gives a once over. Then we should be receiving ppr. The mps office asst. insists that the bfd of September 15 is the date that this happens. Also gave me a new line, "10 working days from this date to hear something!"
I think any review is a fancier or scarier way of saying an agent is looking at the file. So not necessarily a bad thing. This what they do.

So you think review required for eligibility status is normal?

I never got the notes. But the mp asst called for me about 3 weeks ago. The first assistant explained it as an agent should look at the file by September 15. The second asst started back to work there after she retired for a yr. She called me to tell me that the file is in final review. Yeah imagine that. Somebody had time to retire for one year and come back to work and my husband still not here. Little different wording. But hope that helps.

Hello @carolbb23

Need help...received my GCMS and here is the link to the notes pic

Please let me know what I can do...it says review required on eligibility and on the other hand also mentions the points which seems to be above the minimum requirements. Is there something I need to be worried about or what pro active actions can I take?

My AOR is 7th Feb and this comment was updated on 9th March and no action after that, not atleast until when I ordered GCMS on 17th April.

Below is the link where you can see my notes..thanks

Hello @carolbb23

I received another set of GCMS and there has been no activity on my account since March where the last comment by the analyst was a review on my R75 minimum requirement. The GCMS received today is exactly the same as the one I applied in April which means they're just sitting on the application since March...

I've already mentioned in my LOE that the organisation in question is not ready to issue a duty letter. They can just not consider that profile coz even without it I'm scoring 77 points as commented by the case analyst below.

Any suggestions? My AOR is 7th Feb..thanks

Need some assistance with my GCMS notes.

Case processing agent has mentioned the following:

Starts with:
MI3 SUMMARY NOTES: OFFICER REVIEW REQUIRED: SETTLEMENT FUNDS A11.2: REVIEW REQUIRED - FUNDS R:75 FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - APPEARS MET R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW POINTS : APPEARS MET R76 : SELECTION CRITERIA - FUNDS : REVIEW REQUIRED. FSW POINTS TOTAL: 71

at the end of the case processing notes it says:
SETTLEMENT FUNDS: Review Required Family of 1 requires $12475.

Anything to worry about? My bank balance was CAD 17500 which was supported by a gift deed. Should I write to the LVO office and explain anything? Gift deed was already explained in the Letter of Explanation.

This doesn't sound like family sponsorship. There is not requirement for settlement funds.

If you are applying under a different stream, you may get relevant replies from other sections of the forum.
