Update: Submitted my passport on September 05, 2017. It took around 20 minutes.
They charged me Rs. 646/- for passport transmission and SMS fees.

Now I need to apply for my spouse (we married on July 1). I am figuring out the next steps, documents required for the same. I would really appreciate any inputs, guidance from the experienced ones here.
