You can upload it now, I know people from other countries who were able to obtain the PCC without IRCC's request and received their PPR already.

I agree. CIC only tells the standard rules but many people got their PCC without following the standard procedures. they're okay as long as you get you pcc. Please upload it and remember to scan it in color.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It is handy information to know. Hopefully a few others can share their timelines as well.

All the guys I know from the Hong Kong WhatsApp group got it after med passed. So it's likely that you will have your request letter after that as well. It depends on what stream you're in. It can be within one month or two. Fastest is CEC. FSW outland in average. The last is PNP.

who is considered as the legal resident of SA, my wife has stayed in SA for some time earlier but now she is in India( majority of the time) and she visits SA for few days for official work and holds a valid Iqama. Does she need PCC from SA ?

Mrs DelPiero07, I already submitted my application with a letter stating “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from IRCC to get a police certificate.” (I'm from Colombia). Now I realize that I am able to order my police certificate without a IRCC official request letter.

The company that issues the police certificate forwards the certificate directly to the Canadian Embassy. The only thing that they will give me is the payment receipt. How can I attach the payment receipt considering I already submitted my application?

They ask for: Type of application/enquiry. Which one should I choose?

1.Permanent Residence (applied online)
2. Replacement documents,Amendments to documents and Verification of Status documents.
