Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Hello Everyone,
I was able to link my application in MyCIC account yesterday (my local office is CPC-O) and I see the application status below:
"
Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of additional documents: We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes..
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check
.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made. "
does anyone have the same status? they mentioned they will need more documents but when I check "View Submitted Application", they said they don't need any documents.

As per my observations and close look on PGP forum I am of the view that as on today i.e. 8th Sept.
About 2400-2500 out of 10000 applications got their destination point
About 3100 applicants got the medical request
About 2000 applicants got their files transferred to relevant visa offices after getting sponsorship approved
And remaining at last about 2500 applicants are still in sponsorship approval stage

Can you please elaborate how you have made the above analysis, based on what data ?
Or is it purely an assumption ?
Also, have you done any analysis on people where their files got transferred to NDVO ?
Do you think NDVO will get the approval done this year for 2016 applicants who have got medical and Police clearance along with fees submitted last year but never heard anything after that ? Thanks

All these data I have written above is only based on my close watch on spread sheet plus I am a vedic Astrologer (Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Acharya). For knowing the source you have to go through all my previous post/calculations.
Rather I am also from India but my file is at Otawa. My sponsorship was approved on 22 Jun e 2016, medical request on 20 Jan 2017 but no other communication. Processing of PGP files speed is slow through out all visa offices as authorities are busy in Refugees from Syria as well as from America. It is expected now after mid September this will get speed as the authorities have to show 20000 target to be achieved.

Just curious - I wonder how they decide to send some files to New Delhi for people from India and some stay here in Ottawa ?
I really hope they do some action as you say after mid Sep 2017. It looks like is a dead case as of now.

I have similar timeline for my parents. Did you get passports back? I have not received passports back yet.

If parents are residing with their kids in Canada on either visitor visa OR Super visa those files are retained at Ottawa. First I got an intimation that my file is transferred to NDVO but after 45 days I got message from IRCC that my file is at Ottawa and not at Delhi that is due to some system mistake.
Same here I got approval on July 07,my file was transferred to NDVO and it was retransferred to Ottawa on August22.

Secondly I hope they have not already met the 20000 annual target for 2017 because if that is already met they won't be issuing any more approvals this year & we will have to wait till 2018.
