So we tried calling that number today - it turns out it's one we already have. We go through the various menu options until getting to the part where it wants us to enter the application number and year of birth. It then says something along the lines of "status of applications for spouses residing outside Canada is only available online". Not sure how to speak to a live person via these menu options.... any advice?

Just put in your application # and year of birth and ignore the living outside Canada look online part. You will go in circles and will never speak to anyone if you try to find Outland help on the call centre recording. They will help you as long as you have an application number or case number. My husband was Outland living in the states and that is how I spoke to an agent. Hope you get a helpful agent!

I would call and clarify that they have actually received your schedule A and police background checks. I got told 4 times (1 phone call and 3 emails) over 6 weeks period that "additional documents was a technical glitch". I finally got someone on the phone to open my case file and the Schedule A was never actually attached. I resubmitted it that night as a technical error email, and within 48hours had a formal email letter confirming they had received Schedule A. Then nothing for a month until this email yesterday about the VO being Mississauga
PLEASE HOW DID YOU SEND YOUR PREVIOUS SCH A AND PCC WAS IT BY MAIL?I SENT MINE BY MAIL SINCE JUNE AND SOMEONE SIGNED BUT I AM BEING TOLD BY THE AGENT IT HASN'T BEEN ADDED ON THE FILE. I AM NOT SO SURE WHAT TO DO. AND ONE MORE THING WHEN YOU RESEND AS TECHNICAL OFFICE WHICH VISA OFFICE DID YOU CHOOSE OR DID YOU JUST CHOOSE PROCESS INSIDE OF CANADA? MY VISA OFFICE IS OUTSIDE OF CANADA

yes please! thank you

Ok so you call 613-944-4000
Then:
1 1 1 (Transfer to CIC)
1 1 2 (Enter Application Number and Year of Birth)
0 (Speak with a representative)

Hope it works for you guys!

If your stuff has been sent to the VO, I would email them and double check that they have your stuff. If you have been sent to VO, then likely they have everything as I don't think you move past Mississauga until Schedule A is attached. If you have never received an email saying your stuff was transferred to a VO, then you should assume your application is still in Mississauga and deal with them. I sent a hard copy in the mail, but I also scanned it and emailed it under "submit a technical error" through My CIC

My GCKey under the Review of Medical Results has switched to "We are reviewing your medical results." instead of the previous sentence about if you require a medial exam instructions will be sent. However, a medical exam hasn't even been requested yet. Anyone else getting processed in Mississauga have this situation? I'm hoping it's an indication that the medical request will be made soon.... and that ECAS will be updated to In Process! o_O

I just got an email saying I had a new message, which is good because from my end the online system has always been broken for me. The message asked me to go and do my medical exams. My medical entry line also changed to "We are reviewing your medical results.". Seems like things are moving along? (knock knock knock)

I'm going to be taking a break from the forums, WhatsApp, and facebook groups. checking and seeing movement where out application doesn't have it is starting to really take an effect on my day to day life. If anyone needs to specifically get a hold of me, you can message me on facebook if you're there.

Hope all of your applications go well and you all get processed soon!
-Mason

Update: Was asked for Medicals today as of 12pm. Guess my application is moving finally!

Here is any Pakistani applicant who got informed that his or her application going to be processed at Mississauga completely.?

Update: Medical was done and e-filed on Thursday. ECAS still reads application received and as far as I know they have not transferred my file to any other visa office for processing.

Will update again if I have any further news.

Did you not get a letter saying it was going to be processed at CPC-M ? I got this letter, already did medicals and asked to apply for QC and ecas still only shows application received. They are currently waiting for the medical results, I think it takes 1-2 weeks to get back to them. But they know I've done them since now it says online "We are reviewing the results of your medical exam."
