If cic is ready to issue visa, they may require another medical. They requested another one for my husband
Had my medical done twice already and seems as though it is about to expire again, feeling a bit helpless right now,
Mine should expire in a matter of two weeks so I don't know if this is a good sign or what . I'm being sponsored by my dad
You don't know that. More often than not, they extend the current medical.
Yes, I know because it's going to expired in 2 weeks. Even if cic ask her to submit passport, police certificates and photos that will be 15days, so the medical cannot be extended more than 12months or passport expired date.
Cic requested that my husband redo his passport, medical, and police certificate. Though might application was complicated and I went through by myself
Again, you don't know. I suggest you refrain from stating your personal experience as fact. A VO can request a medical extension within 15 months of the medical being done, i.e. a medical that has already been expired for 3 months can still be extended at the request of the VO and with the approval of a medical officer.

I got decision made from the Canadian Embassy in Mexico on August 31,2017, they gave me 15 days deadline to issue the confirmation of permanent residency, they received my passport on September 6,2017. I don't know how much time it will take them to send me back my passport.
On the also says that the COPR document will expire on October 15,2017( Please note that you must travel to Canada within the validity of your visa / Confirmation of Permanent Residence document. ) Does this means I have to travel to Canada before october 15,2017?

Hi, may i ask, what if the applicant's medical has been expired for almost a year now. Still we havent received a new request and we are still waiting for a decision. If our application is granted, are they gonna ask for a new medical request before passport request? Or it depends on the VO? Thank you
I need help guys! I got passport request on December18and i send it on 22nd of December.i recived my passport on 16th of jan.visa stamped but it was only for a week. Issued January 3 expired 11th of jan. There is a letter details of my application and end of the letter there is saying invalid for travel but doesn't explain anything.my medical expiry date and passport expiry date is same. I think it is medical expired but at the mean time why they didnt not explain what is wrong. Now im so worried and dont know what to do. Please guys reply
Contact IRCC. They will request your documents back and re-issue them with extended dates.
