Query on WES ECA

Hello friends, I am beginning with my WES ECA application, however its a bit confusing how this works.

I have a degree from a US university and am currently based in Mumbai, India. The US University has an automated system to send out a physical transcript to an address, so this is fine.

However, on the WES website it says - "Before you send documents, you must submit an application and get a reference number. WES is not responsible for documents that arrive without a reference number. Include your WES reference number on all envelopes and correspondence."

The US University's automated system doesn't have a provision for mentioing the WES reference number. Any suggestions on how this can be handled then?

You could mention it as part of the address that you give to them to which they will post it.

My university has this same system and that's what I did; I included it in the Address; it worked out just fine.

What automated system do they use? Is it the National Clearinghouse?
