Hi, could you please update my status on the tracker? My application status changed to in process on 24th of this month. Thanks!
I would take the timelines with a grain of salt. Once things start moving, people tend not to be so diligent updating the Excel file. The fact that someone shows as waiting since January doesn't mean much, they might have gotten their citizenship already and have forgotten to update the tracker. So the data is definitely skewed.I would take the test anywhere in Canada instead of waiting for ecas updates
I have lots of travels and missing/wrong dated stamps on my passport. I believe it will be a longer process for me too. Even the translations will be very difficult as some stamps are rarely visible. And i do not have all the boarding passes for those trips.
Some people are still waiting for a test date since January. I still think there is a randomness in process. Let's wait and see
True, but unfortunately there are also many people who are stuck with no updates for many months. If you check january and february threads, you will see people that just started receiving test invites now, after 8 months. And this is well within normal processing time of 12 months. So everything is possible...I am trying to program myself for a long wait to avoid disappointment...I was never lucky in these bureacratic matters. I even got my passport request cancelled when I applied for PR - they sent me passport request to stamp my visa and a few days later they cancelled it because they discovered that some more checks needed to be done.I would take the timelines with a grain of salt. That is so annoying - now you have to redo your entire package cause they changed forms and even photo specs. Sorry to hear that! Well, I guess we have no choice but obey the bureaucracy and apply again.Hi
just a update to everyone in thew group.
I had sent my application on 10th july and it was received on 12 th july via priority mail/canada post
Since there was no AOR for 6 weeks I called CIC call centre last friday and was told they never received my application
I have the tracking number and the notification that it was delivered.
so dont shy to call them and ask whats going on: paid 630 $ as fees and I know citizenship is not a right but privilage but who is responsible for loss of my whole identity documents which are out of thin air.?
