Anyone got their documents translated from Islamabad? Need to know if any certified translators are available here who meet IRCCs requirements.

Any translator will work. Just do not forget to take one affidavit from him for English translation. Ask them to use their letter head for translation as all the details of translation company is mentioned on that.

Thank you brother. I have another query. Our PCCs just came. Mine has the entire duration covered from 18 years but my wife's PCC only mentions the date from the date of our marriage. I had provided her address history from the time since she turned 18. I asked the lady at CPO office to include that time duration as well. She wants me to check back again tomorrow. Now will this single PCC mentioning both her addresses work or do I need to make another PCC for her previous address?

If her PCC is not covering entire duration since 18 years then you have to make another PCC. Usually DPO or CPO office include all time since 18 years or birth on PCC. You need to visit CPO office again for clarification.

Hi. Would really appreciate help from you guys here.
I got my AOR on 20 Apr 17 and paid the fee upfront. On June 24 I was asked to submit an additional document: Police Certificate from Sudan (since I was in the Military and went on a UN mission to Sudan). I submitted that document on 31 July and to this date there has been no update regarding my profile. This is how it reads:

Application Status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

My background check hasn't even started yet. Its been over 125 days since my AOR and it seems to me as if my application is forgotten or something. I've tried contacting various offices and called the CIC number as well. I don't even know which office has my file and the number plays an automated message. Can someone please help me and guide me on this?
Thanks in advance

I think uou should wait for directions. BUT, keep replying to this email every second day until you actually get these directions.
Called CIC again and explained everything. Agent said that 30 day submission deadline is only for principle applicant; family members outside Canada do not need worry about it; specially since I have informed CIC of the situation and they have acknowledged it by responding to my email.

No Brother! that guy told me to bring DPO issued PCC which should be foreign office attested and he will issue NOC on that PCC basis. I got PCC attested and will be going to Embassy next week for NOC.
About which NOC are you guys talking? I never needed any NOC.
