In your CIC account against Final Decision, the verbiage will be ''Approved'
OMG, I just check my status, it said "approved"!!
None yet... Fingers still crossed... Might get muscle pulled if this continues... Will bill cic for physical therapy
@carollin ... Congratulations.. Whats your timeline and are you in the US or Canada?
My PP delivered on 28th July, but the agent said they received on 1st Aug. Hope you will have great news soon!
I have just received update with my CIC that my application has been approved today. Also, I have received another email simply saying they are experiencing a high volume of mail, and it might take longer than usual for the passport to return. Here is the actual content from the Mail:
"Dear Sir/Madam,
Your passport has been received at our office and will be returned to you shortly. We are currently experiencing a high volume of mail intake and we cannot confirm how long this process will take.
Your documents will be returned using the envelope that you provided. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery online.
We thank you for your patience."
I sent my passport on July 24th, and they received it on 27th. Application approved on Aug 21st. Return Tracker NOT Activated

Waiting since then! Called twice last week and in both occasions was told to wait without any dates on when officer got it, when it went to printing room etc. I'm not going to call them another time. Irrespective, they will act the way they are presently handling our cases. I only wish all of us to get our passports back safe and sound. This is a ridiculously long wait for just printing visas, especially in 21st century!

Checked a few times today and still no update. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have good news, since others with similar timeline are getting approved today.

Does anyone over here know any forum that has info about tracking PR card after landing in canada?
A friend of mine waited three and half month for his PR card. He landed around April 20 something this year and reiceived his PR card about 2 weeks ago. Just to give you something to reference.
PPR 19th July
PP sent 19th July
Reached Ottawa 24th July
Approved 15th August
Tracker activated 21st August
BOWP approved 21st August (which I don't need anymore)

Congrats! Mine was approved on Aug 17th, passport delivered July 24th. At what was the tracker activated?
