Documents required for WES ECA

Hi All,
My query is related to getting my WES evaluation done for immigration purposes.

As a B Tech graduate, the documents I require to send to WES Canada for evaluation would be:
1) Degree certificate (Final/ Provisional)
2) Transcript

Ques 1: Am I correct? Please update me if I need any other documents in addition to this.

Ques 2: Should these documents be original copies issued by University or the photocopies?

Ques 3: For immigration purposes, do i need to apply for WES standard application or ECA application for IRCC?

1. You need to have apply transcript at your university , they will provide you stamped transcript(all marksheets on a single page) in sealed envelope .
2. Sometime university demands copy of your all marksheets and certificate or soft copy of transcript (depends on university) .
3. Put this envelope and copy of bachelor's degree certificate in other envelope .
4. Write reference number on both envelopes .
5. Do not send original documents unless specifically requested by WES.
6. Post your documents at below address by registered post or by courier .

Hello, I submitted college transcripts signs & sealed by University to WES & I got an update from WES that its not accepted. Can anyone guide me here what went wrong Or what should I send ?
I completed M.Sc so I tool transcripts for both B.Sc & M.Sc - given to University to attest. University has given me back in sealed & signed cover & I have submitted the same to WES Canada. But after few days I got update that, Statement of Marks - Not accepted. The document received was not issued by the institution responsible for conducting examinations.
Does it mean that instead of college transcript, I have to submit, University markshit copy attested by university ?

First of all apply your trancript at university .
they will provide you transcript in sealed envelope .
post both envelopes in commmon envelope including copy of certificates(bachelor+master) .
don't forget to write reference number on all envelopes .

You mean degree certificate should be a copy of the original one and transcript should be original. Both documents properly dated, signed and sealed. Apart from these, the envelopes should be mentioning the WES reference number. Did I get you right?

transcript is nothing but official seal on the xerox copies of ur certificates..


If your college is not Autonomous i.e, if it is affiliated to some University, then

1. Get a xerox copy all your mark memos, Provisional Certificate/OD and CMM

2. Go to your college and get those attested by College PRINCIPAL.

3. Go to your respective University

4. Get them attested by University Registrar (he will attest only if it is already attested by your College Principal)

4. Also, Get seal and attestation from Registrar on the flip of the envelope cover (i.e, where you stick the cover).

5. Put all the documents in the cover, stick it properly.

Transcripts are ready

Hey, thanks for the clarification. My university is autonomous only, so I just need documents to be attested by the Registrar.
What I doubt is - whether copy or original transcript to send to WES.

there will be no copies of transcripts.. only original u ll get

they looks fine.. ensure you put poth PGDM sealed transcripts and Degree sealed transcripts in another large cover

Sure, thanks man great help.....will make two large envelopes. one would contain my documents and other would have my wife documents. I will write WES reference no. on all the envelopes and degree certificate as well....that's it I guess. plz advice

Hi! While registering for an account in WES for my ECA evaluation, I didn't notice that I registered for a WES US account and not Canada. How can I change my registration to WES Canada? I emailed them already but no response yet from them. I tried registering under a different email address but the WES system would not accept my new registration.

Consider a student visa case, where the applicant has applied for MS graduate program in Canadian Universities and application is under evaluation. Admit/ Reject hasn't come yet as it will take 2-3 months for evaluation. Meanwhile he resigns his job and finally the admit arrives from the university. Will this candidate be in a safe situation if he resigns his job. Anyway, he is going to resign after the admit comes and visa is processed.
Will his being unemployed at that time, hinder his visa application?
