You can't just change your visitor visa to a work permit. You need to find a employer who can help apply for LMIA first before you can apply for a work permit and that takes a long time, minimum processing is 4 to 6 months and also your employer will need to advertise the job for a least a month and prove that no Canadians or PR can do the job. Unless you have highly specialized skills than your chances of finding a job is going to be difficult.

How can anyone answer anyway when you have not even offered any information on what skills you might bring to Canada for any employer to take you on.

Also note there is no guarantee you will be allowed into the country for the full 6 months as that is a long time for a genuine tourist/visitor. Coming with the sole intent of job hunting on a visitor visa could be cause for a shortened visit being granted by CBSA.

ALSO it is not polite to post any text in CAPITALS as that can be interpreted that you are shouting.

Well first how will you guarantee that your wife can enter Canada as a 9 month visitor given the period of stay will be determined by CBSA at the border and is usually not more than 6 months for a visitor. Plus CBSA would need to be convinced that for such a long stay your wife and family are planning to leave the country at the end of their stay.

Secondly she cannot simply change from being a visitor to work. She can apply through an immigration program such as EE which given she is a lawyer that is is a skilled occupation. EE as you may know all depends on how many points can be scored, even then the process would take a lot longer than a visitor could stay.

Thirdly to practice as a lawyer in Canada she would need to go through a whole load of assessments to obtain a licence to practice and at some individual cost. It seems doubtful the LMIA option would be available given the licencing requirements alone

Has she received a visa yet? Given your pr expired in 2017 and you haven't renewed because you don't meet the RO that seems unusual. Also seems unrealistic if she has a multi-entry visa that she will be given an extended stay given your expired PR.

Then how i will find my job easily to get sponsorship.
At most on a visitor visa you can visit potential employers but you should not expect any employers to offer you a job or support an LMIA application for a work permit given it is a long costly process for an employer.

You should research the various immigration programs to see if you qualify to immigrate either through Express Entry or PnP programs.

https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship.html

For sure under no circumstances should you work on a visitor visa given apart from being illegal it could in effect remove any chance of immigration to Canada in the future.

Also note that when arriving at the border it is obviously not advisable on a visitor visa to inform CBSA you are visiting to look for a job. Add to that you cannot by the way ever guarantee you will be given a 3 month visit as that will be subject to the decision of the CBSA officer you encounter at the border.

Hi all, I'm in Canada (Mississauga) on a visit visa. Can I look for a job under this visa?

Also, I have applied for my PR (spouse visa) which is in process from the last 8 months.
