Mine too. I reckon once CIO is done processing our files, then they will send it to CIC.
I think we have to wait for AoR from them either by mail or email. Then only we can link our application.

"Awaiting Information" - I don't know what information they want. I didn't get any email.
Researched and people don't get any email either, so I guess they await information from a third party, like the employer or CIC (since I have an OWP, LMIA exempt).
People stayed on this "awaiting information" status from times varying from 7 days to 2 months, to then change back to assessment, to then DIP - decision in progress, to finally "approved" or "rejected."
If someone knows more about this, please clarify.

What is OWP?
My status has been also in awaiting information. MY employer was required whole bunch of company documents on 7 July and
submitted those on 12 July. But my employer had not received the acknowledgement of receipt for one and half month. As well, I had not received any email from the Immigration office after awaiting information, so I did not know what's going on.
Finally, I could reach out to some officer this week after trying to contact several times. I got the AOR.
It is so ridiculous.
Yes, we have to apply paper base.
Estimated time to approval as per CIC - 16 months
But there are some cases which have approval within 6-8 months
If you get an NOI from Ontario or other province in the Express Entry, do we have to withdraw the previous application?
And would we have to pay again?

So awaiting information is really info required from a third party?
And even after your employer submitted that, you are still under the same "awaiting information" status?
According to a research I did, yes. In the case of our friend above, it's been 1.5 months or so, so far (provided the status didn't change).
You are not obligated to withdraw your profile from one stream if you got invitation from another.
However, it can cause delay in the processing of both application and you have to pay the fees twice (if processing starts on your application)

Graduated in May-2017
Application submitted: 19-June-2017
Changed to Assessment : 23-June
Changed to Awaiting information: 7-July
Documents submitted by employer : 12-July
Still Awaiting information
Some applicants were also required individual additional information as awaiting information.
After submission, my status has still been in awaiting information. So, I am very stressed.
