The hardest part is to wait after AOR since it will confirm that the application is complete and won't be returned.

Yeah, let us hope to clear as many rounds as possible before the tsunami of files hits.

Totally agree - at least after AOR we can sneak into our ECaS and confirm that we did not miss any update in mail etc. The initial wait was really painful. Good luck to all of us.

Wow I am disappointed! I no longer hold the record of longest wait for AOR in July - now there are two of us with 40 days.

Things are slowing down. We had two long weekends since July started...

Your AOR is gonna come through soon, await, no worries - unfortunately, it is not first come first served basis, there are still June people who are waiting for AOR if it can be of any consolation... we will get there one day. Good luck

How many days does it take to get AOR once we mail it to them? What is the procedure? Should we follow the status online? Online status is not showing anything to me yet after 2 weeks.

For me, I could see online status next day after AOR - so pretty soon. You will not see anything before AOR.

Yes, it gets transferred to your local office, unless your office is overloaded, in which case it gets transferred to the next available (less busy) office. Next step - you will see in your online status "we started processing your application on XXX date". If you are lucky you will soon be invited to test and interview. If you run out of luck, they will send you request for extra docs like fingerprints or passport stamp translation or some more forms to fill etc.

AOR means your application is complete and they will start processing it. They will not return it unprocessed.

It doesn't have to be sent from the University, a copy is fine.

I don't think it'll impact your citizenship process but I would recommend getting in touch with an agent when you get any one of them. I mean, if you get your renewed PR card, maybe ask the agent if you need to provide a copy of your new PR card or not for your citizenship application, and if you get the citizenship certificate before, then you would have to maybe withdraw your PR application.
