An unexpected event for me. I got my AOR today Updating the spreadsheet

Congrats! The only thing that gave me hope during this wait is that you had not received your AOR either LOL (we have almost the same application delivery dates).

Time to study for the test!

I received my AOR at 5:30 Sydney time too, so I assume somebody in IRCC sends bulk e-mail with one click

We probably had same processing officer, but now our cases will be forwarded to separate offices.

Hopefully Ottawa and Montreal will have same processing times so that I can continue to benchmark to your timeline. It helps a lot to know I am not alone.

Wow I am disappointed! I no longer hold the record of longest wait for AOR in July - now there are two of us with 40 days.

Things are slowing down. We had two long weekends since July started...

I can now see my ECAS status (next day after getting AOR):

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 6, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 14, 2017.

My file was delivered on 5th actually, but I guess they only opened the package on 6th. I hope they are not counting my out-of-country absences in the same way - by adding extra day

That's true , just imagine what will happen when bill c6 kicks in.
The hardest part is to wait after AOR since it will confirm that the application is complete and won't be returned.
