i came here in hope to help me figure out the NOC code that most matches my job post and duties
i work as operation co coordinator in Import and Export Department in a Freight forwarding company and my job Duties are as follow:
· Receive and confirm customers’ orders (requests for quotation and handling instructions)
· Acquiring needed rates to from agents and carriers to be able to offer quotation to clients
· Negotiation rates to meet client needs
· Arrange for pickup of cargo from carrier location and arrange transportation of freight either by Air, Sea or Land to consignee’s
· Communicate with and ensure release of the freight ocean and air carriers
· Establish customer communication preference
· Serve as a liaison between document processing, Billing, customs clearance and customer regarding all shipment details
· Reporting of shipment progress as required by the customer
· Ensure all necessary documentation is collect prior to delivery of shipment
. Report shipping progress to operation and sales Manager
. Work Closely with sales department to generate winning sales lead
i personally feel the closest NOC code to the above duties would be 1215 but i am confusingly not sure if this is still the right Code for me on the other hand i dont want to fall down to category C
