Hi, another quick question. I am applying for PR outland from Thailand, where I currently live with my Canadian guy, but I am British. Does anyone know which centre will process my application - UK or Thailand and do I get a choice? I'm asking because I'm not sure if I'll still be in Thailand in say, 9 months - I may be back in the UK by then (application being sent off this week). Thanks

You don't get a choice and if you're from the UK I imagine it would be processed at the London VO.

You can write a letter stating you don't intend to be in Thailand much longer, so would prefer processing in London. This would also make sense in unlikely case an interview is required, it wouldn't make sense to have to travel back to Thailand to attend it.

Of course the final decision is up to IRCC, however in most cases they process based on citizenship anyways.

Our was based on the country of residence, not citizenship.

I would do like Rob_TO is suggesting and a note to your application
