Last time I checked , based on data from July10th, there were around 3000 nominations left.
Which means, There were around 1000 nominations provided till date. Considering a surge in application till July 25, there is a glimmer of hope for them to re-open.

IMO, they will re-open and when that i can't predict.

They put on hold due to registration limit and we don't know if all those who had registered, submitted the full profile in 14 days. Applicants can withdraw OINP as well after direct ITA. So they will just sort it out and will again re-open with final figures i guess. This is what i think so.

so 1994 Number of Nominations Remaining (out of 6,000), how does this work though ? will the NOIs be 6000 in total as well or would they have sent greater number of NOIs ?? i am asking this bec every second person i talk to admits that he/she has got NOI from Ontario.

Not everyone will thread through the pnp path though they received NOI. Candidates with higher score will wait with patience for direct ITA and PNP's know this. They will send an innumerable NOI's to all the eligible candidates and the rest is known.

As at the last update of July 10th they were 2485 nominations left. And now 1994 meaning about 491 nominations were issued within this period not 1000.

Yes, there's hope but we should also know that each stream has a quota for the year. HCP does not have the 6000 slots for the year.
We all need to pray for God's favor...

OINP is doing great in this week as a lot of candidates status changed plus quite a few nominations. I hope they will continue this pace for next week too!

I agree with you that remaining 2000 does not mean that they all are reserved for HCP stream. There are other streams too to share this remaining quota. Secondly a lot of applications are still in process specially from ICT week NOIs. Lets see what will happen by September end as by that time most of the ICT applications would be nominated.

I agree that a lot of ICT applications are being processed. Next update will give a clearer picture hopefully... meanwhile we kip our fingers crossed and pray for the best.

But after June changes when the draw CRS escalated to 440, I have seen a lot of people in CRS 420+ who went for grabbing the chance of OINP. All will be clear by next month end whether they will send NOI again or not.

Amen. My doc are ready intact. Just waiting for FBI clearance. But if I get ITA I will do expedited clearance and get results in 2 biz days instead of waiting for 6 more weeks...
