Hello Fellow forum members,
I was looking for these questions somewhere in this forum but couldn't find them. I have three very specific questions:
1) I have total 10 years of experience with the same NOC spread across 6 different companies. I have letters from 4 employers stating the roles and responsibilities of my job, which totals about 5.5 years of experience. The rest of the companies (4.5 yrs) are not providing the roles and responsibilities letter, which is fine I suppose (company policies).
Now, considering that you can score the maximum 50 points in the skills transfer ability section with just 3 years of foreign work experience, do I need to bother about getting a letter from my ex colleagues and notarizing it for my experience in the rest of the 2 companies which are not providing the letter?
I can prove that I worked in the two companies through my end of tenure experience letter, but just that I won't be providing a proof of my job duties.
2nd question) If my employer is providing a job duties letter on a company letter head, do I still need to notarize it?
3rd question) For my wife's work experience, is there any point in getting a letter from her employers stating her job duties, even though she is not getting any points for her experience. (non-Canadian)
I'll be providing an end of tenure experience letter without the job duties.
Thank you so much for your time to answer this. It will be really helpful.
