For how many jobs should I show my job responsibilities ?

Hello Fellow forum members,

I was looking for these questions somewhere in this forum but couldn't find them. I have three very specific questions:

1) I have total 10 years of experience with the same NOC spread across 6 different companies. I have letters from 4 employers stating the roles and responsibilities of my job, which totals about 5.5 years of experience. The rest of the companies (4.5 yrs) are not providing the roles and responsibilities letter, which is fine I suppose (company policies).

Now, considering that you can score the maximum 50 points in the skills transfer ability section with just 3 years of foreign work experience, do I need to bother about getting a letter from my ex colleagues and notarizing it for my experience in the rest of the 2 companies which are not providing the letter?

I can prove that I worked in the two companies through my end of tenure experience letter, but just that I won't be providing a proof of my job duties.

2nd question) If my employer is providing a job duties letter on a company letter head, do I still need to notarize it?

3rd question) For my wife's work experience, is there any point in getting a letter from her employers stating her job duties, even though she is not getting any points for her experience. (non-Canadian)
I'll be providing an end of tenure experience letter without the job duties.

Thank you so much for your time to answer this. It will be really helpful.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
1 - You don't need to bother unless you need those points under the six selection factors (assuming you're a FSW applicant) to be eligible under such program (67 out of 100 points). There is a 2 point difference between 5 years and 6 years of work experience.

2 - No.

3 - Do not state her work experience and mention it only in the personal history section once you receive an ITA. No proof of employment will be required. Her work experience is irrelevant to your application.

Thanks you so much @DelPiero07 for your very clear answer. This helps a lot. Couple of follow up questions on points 1 & 2.

1) I get 72 points with 5.5 years of experience, in the six selection factors, so I guess I'm ok there. But I actually forgot about the selection factors of FSW. thanks for pointing me towards it.
For the jobs (4.5 yrs) which I can't provide a roles and responsibilities letter, do I mention these in the personal history rather than the work history?

2) For my wife's experience, is it right to mention in the personal history? Because it's actually work history but just that I can't provide all the papers.
and is it ok to just skip this in both personal and work history and mark the period as unemployed? But I guess that will be falsifying information.

1 - Yes, personal history.

2 - It is not ok to skip it in the personal history. You must mention it there and you won't be required to provide any documentation.
