PCC checks for <3 months stay?

1. Have people received PCC requests even if they've stayed in some countries in aggregate for <2 months? I noticed some have got it for 5m and thereabouts but what about for lesser periods like 1 or 2 months?

2. Which countries typically trigger PCCs even if the stay is less than 6 months?

Well the instructions say you need PCC for countries you have visited for six months or more, but the officer can still ask for PCC if they want to confirm you have no criminal record, even if you have spent a week in that country.

I understand that they can but have they and how frequently ? I don't want to go on a wild goose chase and get PCCs for every country I ever visited multiple times. I am just asking for empirical evidence.

Have you submitted your PR application yet? If not you must simply follow the instruction which say you need PCC for countries you have spent 6 months or more in (cumulatively).

No one can answer your question directly, but what I can say is it is not frequent, in fact I have not seen it before.

I haven't submitted EE yet. Just trying to get going on as many of the time consuming later steps early, if possible.

Ok, so just follow the 6 month instruction. They cant reject your application if you do so, and if they need more they will ask.
