If you have doubts, you can get the copy of the form from CBSA.

Can you please explain a little more? What exactly should I do to get form?
You can request all information pertaining about you with CBSA under the Access to information Act. If you are in Canada, you can file this request on your now behalf, if you are not currently in Canada, you can file this through https://www.getgcms.com .

You will receive all records which CBSA has pertaining to you. If there is nothing found, then you are all good. And if something shows up, you can see what you signed.

However, it certainly is the form of voluntarily refusal to enter.

No, GCMS is specifically for IRCC. For CBSA you will need to make a different request. The request will be under the same access to information act, but the content will be different.

The government of Canada categorizes documents in different category.

The GCMS notes contain personal information and thereof are classified as "B" -
Applies to information or assets that, if compromised, could cause serious injury to an individual, organization or government.

For the entire list see - https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/esc-src/protection-safeguarding/niveaux-levels-eng.html

@systems.engineer
This is dozens of forum users CSIS report template from this year. Security screening is applicable for all immigration categories and this report is specifically for spouse sponsorship. EE, spouse sponsorship, PNP applicants who are within the normal processing times do not have to worry about CSIS, CBSA, etc. For majority of applicants security screening can be done in the visa office itself within one day. Please share your CSIS report that does not have anything about CBSA to compare.

"The following is in response to the request dated XXX concerning the security screening status of XXXX permanent resident application, in which the applicant has provided you the necessary authorization to act on his/her behalf.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is one of several organizations that Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) may consult while assessing a permanent resident application and determining whether a person is admissible to Canada. IRCC then determine who will be allowed to enter the country and whether they will be granted resident status in Canada. CSIS's role in immigration matters is to provide advice to IRCC through the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).

CSIS received a security screening request from IRCC on xxxx concerning XXX permanent resident application. The security screening was completed and advice was sent on XXXX.

As CSIS now concluded its involvement in this request, IRCC or CBSA would be in a better position to provide a status update on XXXX application. At this time, I can only suggest that you redirect your request to them.

Sincerely,
Brian Rumig
Assistant Director Operations"

Attention: order gcms note, CBSA record only from the official ATIP website.
https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

To be eligible to make a request under the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada.

But how can we order from this link, if we are not living in Canada, and don't have close friends to use their addres?

Hi Legalfalcon
can getgcms help in checking is csis has concluded the background checks?
For CSIS

How can I find out about the status of my immigration screening file?
For general information on immigration/ citizenship/ refugee/ visa-related issues, contact Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at 1-888-242-2100 or website www.cic.gc.ca.

  • the signature of the applicant, and
  • a return mailing address as replies are not sent by email or fax.
If you are enquiring on behalf of another person, the request must be accompanied by the Consent Form to Disclose Information to a Designated Individual.

Mail or fax the request to CSIS at the attention of:

There are many third parties who then come in if you do not have a legal status in Canada, or do not know anyone. You can search form them online or go with GET GCMS. They are also the most economic as others who charge 40-50 per request.

Its your choice.

Dear xxxx,
This application is under review for background verifications. These can be lengthy and we are not in a position to provide a timeframe. Please rest assured that we will contact you as soon as the background verifications are completed.

They are referring the security screening, right?

Given your AoR and this reply, it looks like it. But don't lose hope. If you would like, you can seek information from CSIS and see if hey have finished reviewing your info and when they submitted their report to IRCC.
