AOR is issued at Sydney Office only as well as IP status.

hey,i applied through sydney office.
My estatus says "Application received''Since 18 july.Its been like 18 days still the status is the same
Is sydney office too slow?
Is it normal to have like 18 to 20 days wait to go for "In process"

No impact following your application. There can be an impact if you permanently move and update change of address if nobody is there to receive communication at the current address.

I got AOR on July 11 and my status hasn't changed since then. I am really worried about it. should I call them? if so should I call Sydney or local offices(London, ON)?

Don't Worry... It should go to In Process soon. Give it some time. If you are really worried then i would suggest to request your ATIP notes. Feel free to call them, but I don't think the call center will be able to do anything as it is under normal processing time.
