Hello,

I'll try to make it short to simplify: Both my wife and I have PR status for Canada, but currently living outside Canada, preparing to move, and our child was born abroad.

I contacted our local Embassy, and they instructed me to submit a TRV application for the child, attaching as well a copy of our PR cards and her birth certificate.

While they told me I could submit in the traditional way or online, I am having difficulty trying to understand the online way.

I was told minors cannot create an account, however, if I complete the questionnaire after creating mine, it is all oriented towards *me* applying...

If I select that I want to apply for a family member at the end, it thinks I want to make *two* applications, one for them and one for me!

If instead of answering for myself, I answer as if I was my child, it-s kind of the same thing as it doesn't interpret as it being for a minor. (and wouldn't this be the same as if the minor had created their account, but worse as I'm using my name?)

Does anybody know what the correct way of applying online for my child's TRV would be?

Thanks in advance!

Hi. No. Unfortunately the online was too generic and not clear enough for my situation, so I ended up applying on paper, and attaching what they asled me for, which was a copy of our passport and PR card.
They processed it very dast, and we got the visa in about 3 days
