And if you were to estimate how many are OINP in that, what would it be?According to my calculation the invitations given to PNP in 2017 till August 2 is not more than 6000
Not less than 3'515. That's easy, because Ontario publishes their nomination numbers: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_PROCESSINGTIMES.htmlAnd if you were to estimate how many are OINP in that, what would it be?
Thank you. Spend more time with your family and enjoy every moment with your newborn son. Keep the enthusiasm and spreading the good vibes in this forum.Hello my friend, I'm so glad to hear you and you are with us as usual, that's a main point and it means a lot to us, believe me. And Congratulations on your nomination, couldn't point out that, coz was really busy with my baby boy and my wife. Thank God, they are OK and now home.
As you said, my friends (active, newbies and short time visitors), do not lose your hope, keep it with you all the time, your ITA is coming, remember the last year, everyone was telling CRS would never come down 440 or even 445, now we all saw CRS 413 and soon we will witness CRS 400 and even lower, coz as @andieangel (Secretary General ) told us earlier that those who are eligible and trying to work very hard on improving their CRS score deserve an ITA
@iamxty please visit us here when you get the chance and good luck for your post-ITA process. Ask any help (even though you know everything ) if you need, we will support as we are doing to our Sister @Wandering Mind ; Believe me, we need you without doubt and you need us Hope we will catch up you very soon and celebrate together our birthday parties, organize parties for kids and may be short trip across Canada.
PS: I feel now CIC will launch their regular draw-out system, I mean big size and 2-3 draws a month, sometimes back-to-back draws, hopefully we will have our ITAs very soon Plz everyone try to be critical thinker, not critical person who always see the negative in everything. Last point to tell you all: NEVER BACK DOWN and DO NOT GIVE A ROOM IN YOUR HEART for THE NEGATIVITY because you all set already a reasonable GOAL.
Hahahaha....oh ok@admin He/She is the admin
Hey, buddy, see you in Ontario soon! I really admire your persistence and determination. All the best to you.I just finished assembling my proof of funds for my student visa. Damn, pdf editing gets screwed up quite easily. I'm pretty good technically, but I encountered so many problems that I'm up with the crew on the other side of the world. Compressing a pdf seems like it should be easy, but when the resulting file is missing pages, you find out all the little picky ways.
On the upside, when I finally get my ITA, I'll be an expert already.
I think I already have 18 points out of the maximum of 24. I am in two minds whether to take IELTS again or apply for OINP when it opens
This is true. My CRS is 408 at CLB9 from 357 with CLB7.You are confusing FSW points with CRS score here. If you score 8,7,7,7 in L,R,W,S sections of IELTS, your CRS score will get a boost of around 20-30 points easily. It might be even more. Calculate your CRS points using the above IELTS score and see for yourself.
I wonder what is the algorithm used for this program.I found this tool to get the expected CRS for the next round of invitations

No one can understand them. CIC is like a woman, unpredictable and moody most of the time. Can someone please help me understand what is going on with cic
Indeed. Uploading confidential files is a real risk. If you are IT-savvy, you can use ghostscript to compress the files. I used Adobe Pro though. I had tried the compression of the Preview in Mac but the result is not so good.I thought about using an online tool, and it might have worked. However, it was bank statements, etc, and sending that to a "free" website seemed risky.
It also might not have worked any better. The problems were created by the process of merging 12 files and trying to remove useless pages. And also by the way graphics were input to a word document before it was saved to pdf.
I think it was the "flattening" that finally gave me a full file.
Ha ha ha. Look at you.!! Where's your old profile.?
I don't think that's the same person.
Who was that? xibalban had deactivated his account and will not be back so soon.@xibalban ...you'll be great at fiction...going by the way Xibalban1 wrote...but so poor at drama ......you're simply overdoing the grammer....

My problem might have been that we own Nuance, not Adobe Pro.Indeed. Uploading confidential files is a real risk. If you are IT-savvy, you can use ghostscript to compress the files. I used Adobe Pro though. I had tried the compression of the Preview in Mac but the result is not so good.
