Question regarding Police certificate

Asking this for a friend who recently got ITA. So he is from Taiwan but his family lives in China. After 18 yrs old until present, He visited and stayed in China for over 6 months (cumulatively) but didnt stay in Taiwan for more than 6 months.

Does he only need to provide Police certificate from China or he needs it for both China and Taiwan ?

I advise your friend to recalculate his time in Taiwan to make sure 100% its less than 6 month. Getting PCC in TW is piece of cake, and its in cn-eng. And they can even mail it abroad. If he has a relative here, its just a half hour wait at the police station. PoA to get PCC doesnt need to be notarized, just his signature.

Hi dull1234,
Did your friend have to provide the Chinese police certificate? As far as I know, this document is only needed when somebody stays 6 months or more in a row in a country. Is that right?
