Hey guys, I have a friend who selected 'Yes' to the job offer question and now he is asked to provide a letter of employment, offer of employment and employment records. However, he is CEC and that is not applicable to him and I have just told him that.

I read on this forum a while back, that if an applicant's 'real' score in the particular draw they received an ITA is more than the minimum score for that draw, they can still submit their application with an LOE explaining the change. Is that correct?

My friend's score is 493 (including the extra 50 points for job offer), and the score for the May 31st draw is 413. So without the additional 50 points, his score should be 443. Can he still proceed with submitting his application (with an LOE) or does he need to decline the ITA, create a new profile and wait for another invite?

Anyone who's successfully done this or has knowledge on this should kindly advise. Thanks

your interpretation on this issue is correct. he is way over 413 even after deduction of 50 points. he will be fine. he can also attach an loe in that placeholder. if you need an expert opinion you can ask @DelPiero07 @legalfalcon
