If you shoot me the city you are in (or a google maps to downtown) I can give you the landing office (for certain).

Is it up to 8 weeks before they issue invitation, or will I receive an invitation soon and might have to wait up to 8 weeks for appointment though?

I think most of people get their landing appointment letter about two weeks before their actual appointment.

Just be calm and everything will be fine! If you want to reassure yourself about your skills, just watch an episode of Canada's worst driver, you can't do that bad!

But they are doing their job and they have to wait for cis and RCMP to clear them and some many checks with the original country police and intelligent plus interpol

i guess when they claim refugee it's the same thing. I understand why your feeling frustrated we all had our moments. but imagine being under the old application me and my husband was December 14,2015 and we finished with landing interview at cic etobicoke on April 28,2017 took us 16 or 17 months . you must understand there is a lot of family class application inland ando outland

Looking forward to find invitation letter in mail! Then a bit more waiting for PR card.. and time to take my wife to see my home country and meet my grandparents who could not make it to our wedding! I really can`t wait!
